About Me

Hi, I’m Cameron!

Storytelling and communications has been my thing ever since I learned how to read and write.

I built my career in communications (including PR, advertising, marketing, B2B, and in-house) before launching my own business in 2014.

Since then, I’ve devoted myself to helping industry leaders communicate better.

With my help, my clients express their big ideas, level-up their leadership, turn their expertise into profits, transform their brands into legacies, and make the impact they were born to make.

I believe in the power of storytelling.

I firmly believe that connecting with others, and expressing ourselves authentically and effectively, is at the heart of not only professional success, but a life well-lived.

When you can communicate well, everything gets better. You:

  • Gain more reputation, respect, and influence in your industry.
  • Help others.
  • Do meaningful work.
  • Develop stronger, deeper connections.
  • Excel as a professional and as a leader.
  • Turn your expertise real profits.

...And you become a better thinker and leader in the process.

Storytelling has transformed my clients’ lives, and it’s transformed mine too.

I grew up feeling like other people didn’t ‘get me,’ so I kept a lot to myself.

I had a heart condition I never talked about.

I was hella queer but didn’t know how to talk about that either.

I didn’t start transitioning (yep, I’m transgender) until the ripe old age of 42.

But the more I’ve shared myself with the world — my story, my truth, my honest self — the better things have gotten.

You can express yourself professionally in a way that serves others, gets results, AND still feels true to you.

It’s not easy. But when you do it right... it’s magic.

Other fun facts about me:

  • I’ve self-published two books: Share Your Story: A Workbook, and Little Poems for Big Hearts
  • I ran a podcast for a couple years called Storytelling with Heart
  • I’m a poet and help run a trans poetry collective called Juxtaposition
  • I’ve been a lifelong diarist, and continue to journal on a regular basis
  • I love to make zines, word art, and other fun projects
